Tec Rec Nitrox Blender
Do you want to find out how to mix enriched air (nitrox)? During this course, you will learn how to calculate your mixes and then, to physically mix the gases. You will also acquire knowledge on O2 clean.
Tec Rec Trimix Blender
Do not settle with learning how to mix enriched air. Go to the next level with trimix. This course combines the skills of three modules: enriched air blender, O2 clean and blending of trimix mixes.
PSI O2 Clean Technician
This program covers everything you need to know to comply with Canadian and American legislations regarding O2 cleaning of scuba cylinders for enriched air (nitrox) use.
PSI Fill Station Operator
Learn how to operate a breathable gas compressor, to fill tanks with air, nitrox or trimix, to fill from banks and the steps to follow before filling. This course includes hands-on training and a certification.
PSI Hazardous Materials
To comply with CNESST and/or other work safety legislations, each person who works with or in proximity to compressed gas cylinders used in scuba diving must be properly trained. This applies to instructors, dive shop staff, etc.
WHMIS/HAZCOM/GHS
Convert to the new 2015 program on HAZMAT identification and standardization of chemical products. This program is also required for dive industry workers and is an excellent addition to the hazardous material course.
PSI Cylinder Visual Inspection
Do you own a lot of tanks and want to save money by inspecting them yourself? This program will teach you how to inspect cylinders in 18 steps and will give you valuable information on applicable legislation. This course leads to a certification recognized throughout North America.
PSI Eddy Current Inspection
If you want to inspect aluminum cylinders to make sure they are safe for use, why not learning Eddy current testing. You will learn how to detect and analyze potential cracks in a cylinder’s collar using Eddy current.
PSI Valve Technician
This course will teach you how to disassemble, clean and reassemble all types of cylinder valves and it will certify you when manufacturers’ training is not available.
PSI Composite Cylinder Repair
If you regularly handle composite cylinders such as SCBA for firefighters or paintball cylinders, it can be less expensive to know how to repair them yourself.
PSI SCBA (Firefighter) and Paintball
This is an add-on module to the visual inspection course to have a detailed look at this specific type of cylinder.
SCUBA Regulator Repair and Maintenance
A complete course to teach you how a regulator works. Learn how to disassemble, assemble, service and maintain regulators. You will also learn how to find problems and fix common malfunctions. This program covers the most popular brands of regulator.
BCD Repair
Learn how to service, maintain, replace parts and repair most BCD brands and models. You will also learn how to assemble a technical diving harness.
Wetsuit and Drysuit Repair
Learn the various aspects of wetsuit and drysuit repair. We will teach you to repair neck and wrist seals, to change a zipper and to find a leak, plus all the tricks of the trade.
SUEX DPV Technician
A course that allows you to maintain and repair SUEX scooters. You will become a SUEX certified technician.
