Underwater Imaging
Most of our imaging courses can be tailored to help you create great underwater images, whether you are shooting stills or video. No need to be an expert! We offer courses from beginner to advanced levels.
PADI Digital Underwater Photography (I and II)
Two different courses are offered. In level I, you will learn about basic functions and settings of your digital camera. In level II, you will learn about composition and briefly about processing your images with software.
Absolute Photography
Learn all the underwater photography tools and tricks. You will learn how to compose an image and, adjust your settings in manual mode as well as how to position your strobes to better control lighting and colors.
PADI Videography
Learn basic tricks to produce short videos. Learn how to use and maintain your video system. Learn how to create a storyline and build a shot list.
Absolute Videography
This is a complete course to shoot underwater videos. You will learn how to compose and frame your shots, how to adjust your camera settings in manual mode as well as how to position and use video lights to find the right color settings.
Photo and video with GoPro
"GoPro" cameras are so popular now that they can be found on almost every dive boat. Learn how to use them underwater to get the best shots possible. Learn about the accessories that can be used with these cameras.
Hostile Environments
Whether you are shooting stills or video, hostile environments such as bad visibility, cold water, particle-rich waters, decompression dives, and caves bring many challenges. Learn how to overcome them.
Photos Editing with Lightroom
Adobe suite software is complex and difficult to master. Although this course will not teach you everything about the use of Lightroom, it is a complete overview of useful tools to process your underwater photos.
Photos Editing with Photoshop
Photoshop is a difficult program to master. Although this course will not teach you every aspect of the software, it is useful to learn how to touch up your underwater photos.
Videos Editing I with Imovie or Movie Maker
This is an introductory course on video editing with basic and inexpensive software. You will begin to learn editing guidelines that will also be useful when using more expensive software.
Videos Editing II with Premiere or Final Cut
These complex editing tools require a greater understanding of basic editing concepts. Learn how you can use sophisticated software to color correct, manipulate audio tracks, backup and archive your projects, etc.
Conservation Photography I and II
This program is held in South-Africa in the field. It is a combination of adventure and exploration of the area. As you go, you will learn how to write conservation-oriented articles and how to photograph wildlife on land and underwater.
